Everything you might want to know before you buy.
How will I receive my book after I buy it?
As soon as your payment goes through, Hotmart sends you an email with a download link straight away. Nothing arrives in the post — the book is yours within moments.
What format are the books in? Do I need a special device?
Every book is a PDF — the same kind of file you’d open to view a leaflet or a statement. It opens on a computer, tablet, phone or e-reader, with no special app or account needed. If you’d rather hold it in your hands, you can print it at home too.
Are these physical books that arrive in the post?
No — these are digital books you download and keep. Nothing is posted to you. That’s what keeps the price low and gets the book to you the moment you buy it.
Is my payment secure? Who takes the payment?
Your payment is handled by Hotmart, a well-established online checkout service that processes card details securely. We never see or store your card information.
Can I read the books on my phone or tablet?
Yes — a PDF opens happily on a phone, tablet, computer or e-reader. Many readers find a tablet the most comfortable, but whatever you have will do.
I’ve bought a book but can’t find my download. What should I do?
Check your email inbox — and your spam or junk folder — for the message from Hotmart; the download link is inside it. If it still hasn’t turned up, email support@curiousbritainlibrary.com and we’ll sort it out for you.
Is this a subscription? Will I be charged again?
No. Each book is a one-off purchase. You pay once, the book is yours, and there’s nothing further to pay.
Can I get a refund?
Because the books are digital and yours to keep the moment you download them, they can’t usually be returned. If there’s a genuine problem with your order, please email us and we’ll help. Refunds and billing are handled through Hotmart’s buyer-protection process at checkout.
Your purchase is handled securely through Hotmart, our checkout partner, so your payment and any refund or billing questions go through their buyer-protection process at checkout. Because our books are digital downloads, they can’t usually be returned once downloaded — the same way a shop can’t take back a book you’ve already taken home and opened. If something’s genuinely wrong with your order, get in touch and we’ll put it right.
